That's the closest I'll get to Canada I'll get for a long time.

Can't say I've ever watched any sports event that much in my life but this years winter olympics reminded me how much I love snow sports in general :)
So here's to all the people who did their countries proud over the last 2 weeks.

Medals Table top 10 (and GB)
Country G - S - B - Total
USA 9 - 15 - 13 - 37
Germany 10 - 13 - 7 - 30
Canada 14 - 7 - 5 - 26
Norway 9 - 8 - 6 - 23
Austria 4 - 6 - 6 - 16
Russian Federation 3 - 5 - 7 - 15
Korea 6 - 6 - 2 - 14
China : Sweden 5 - 2 - 4 - 11
France 2 - 3 - 6 - 11
Great Britain 1 - 0 - 0 - 1 Thank god for Amy Williams :)

Shaun White's final halfpipe run was definitely a highlight as he debuted the Tomahawk (aka Double Mctwist 1260). Need to get to chillfactor SOON! not that they have a pipe there... or rails....or jumps. Also a mention to Errol Kerr of Jamaica. Even if he didn't win anything, after Cool Runnings it makes me happy that Jamaica still compete successfully :)
And finally I should probably mention the Georgian Luge athlete, Nodar Kumaritashvili, who died in training before the Olympics opened. RIP
Apart from that it was all good (Y) and I can't find a video for the women downhill racer who fell pretty much straight after leaving the start gate, the womens snowboarder who fell right OVER the start gate or Shaun Whites final run for the halfpipe. BARROWMAN!
In 4 years I wanna be there. But probably not competing :)
